Earlier in March 2020, HeFRA signed a provisional agreement with VATEBRA Limited, an information technology company with vast experience in online applications and ERP Software Development.
The company will provide online mobile application services to enhance operational activities of HeFRA. The Mobile Online Information System will allow submission of documents (Registration), updating of files, scheduling of Inspections, verification of the status of Licence and as well as obtaining vital information regarding Monitoring and changes to policy guidelines.
The Registrar – Dr. Philip A. Bannor, reassures that “for the first time over 35,000 facilities across the country will no longer submit documents manually at the Head Office in Accra, for processing.”
According to the Registrar, “the agreement will in no doubt, enhance the Agency’s leading role as the premier authority to set standards for all health facilities (Public or Private) in the nation.”
Dr. Justice Odei Som responding on behalf of VATEBRA stated he is grateful to have the opportunity to provide the Mobile and online application technology to HeFRA. He pledged to the Registrar, Management and the Board of HeFRA to provide excellent service under the agreement.
