Earlier in March 2020, HeFRA signed a provisional agreement with VATEBRA Limited, an information technology company with vast experience in online applications and ERP Software Development.

The company will provide online mobile application services to enhance operational activities of HeFRA. The Mobile Online Information System will allow submission of documents (Registration), updating of files, scheduling of Inspections, verification of the status of Licence and as well as obtaining vital information regarding Monitoring and changes to policy guidelines.

The Registrar – Dr. Philip A. Bannor, reassures that “for the first time over 35,000 facilities across the country will no longer submit documents manually at the Head Office in Accra, for processing.”

According to the Registrar, “the agreement will in no doubt, enhance the Agency’s leading role as the premier authority to set standards for all health facilities (Public or Private) in the nation.”

Dr. Justice Odei Som responding on behalf of VATEBRA stated he is grateful to have the opportunity to provide the Mobile and online application technology to HeFRA. He pledged to the Registrar, Management and the Board of HeFRA to provide excellent service under the agreement.

  • The implementation of the enterprise resource planning calls for flexibility and expertise to secure online data processing of our clients, back office functions and to streamline the sheer amount of information across the entire agency. This vision of the agency should provoke grander resource allocation to the information system department alongside training for all staff to fully exploit the roi on this project.

    • Well noted.

  • good initiative, i hope this will lead to decentralization of information within the agency’s operation grounds within all districts (if possible) and regional offices. this will allow free flow of information and will give room for staffs to interact freely as well as engaging with clients data in a more comprehensive way. the need to fully resource operational units in all regions will help sustain this initiative. management is doing well.
