Health Facility Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), Council to regulate the public and private health care facilities to enhance a healthy population
Dr Belinda Afriyie Nimako is currently the Ag. Director, PPME at the Ministry of Health. She is a proud old student of Wesley Girls' High School holds an MBchB in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ghana and a postgraduate certification in Global Health from the University of Edinburg. Dr Afriyie-Nimako is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and now the Board chair of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency
Dr Winfred Baah is a Consultant Physician and Nephrologist. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians. Dr. holds an MBCHB degree, a Master’s degree in Public Health, both from the University of Ghana, a certificate in Health Administration and Management from GIMPA, a certificate in Health leadership from the University of Washington, and a certificate in Health Quality Systems from Fayoum University in Egypt. He is currently the Registrar of the HeFRA and the Board Secretary of HeFRA.
Hon Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane hold an M.D from the Institute of Medicine and Hygine, St Pertersburg, Russia and an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management. He is currently the Member of the Parliament for the people of Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East Region, the Chairman of the Health Committee in Ghana’s 9th Parliament and now a member of the HeFRA Board.
Mrs. Grace Oppong Dolphy is a legal practitioner and a Chief State Attorney at the Office of the Attorney-General, Ghana. She has over Twenty (20) years of legal practice in the public sector. She has a Master of Law (LLM) in Oil and Law and works in the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice.
Dr. Dzifa Anyah Nani is a graduate of the University of Ghana Medical School and a member of the college of Physicians and Surgeons Ghana. Now a Board Member of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA).
Dr. Senanu Djokoto is a Public Health Practitioner. He holds an MBChB and a BSc in Human Biology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Dr Djokoto is currently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority and now a Board member of the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA).
Samuel Agyei Frimpong is a Nurse with over 12 years’ experience in the Health Sector. He holds a BSc in Public Health from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Mental Health (Psychiatry) from Nursing Training College, Ankaful. Samuel Agyei Frimpong is a member of the HeFRA Board
