Overview

The Compliance and Enforcement Department at HeFRA is responsible for ensuring that all licensed health facilities operate within the legal and regulatory frameworks established by the agency. It plays a vital role in protecting public health by investigating non-compliance, enforcing sanctions, and promoting adherence to standards across the healthcare sector.

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Compliance
    Tracks the operational conduct of health facilities to ensure ongoing adherence to licensing conditions, safety protocols, and service quality standards.
  • Investigations & Audits
    Conducts investigations into reported violations, irregularities, or complaints. This includes site visits, document reviews, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Enforcement Actions
    Recommends and executes appropriate sanctions such as warnings, fines, suspensions, or revocations of licenses in accordance with HeFRA’s legal mandate.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Works collaboratively with facility managers, legal entities, and other regulatory bodies to promote awareness and understanding of compliance obligations.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    Maintains detailed records of enforcement actions, compliance status, and case resolutions to support transparency and accountability.
